WEST MILFORD TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS
The Maker Movement
“The actual “doing” and “making” can pique a student’s curiosity, capture their interest, and motivate their continued study, the insights thus gained help them recognize that the work of scientists and engineers is a creative endeavor.”
A MakerSpace is a learning environment where students can collaborate, innovate, and create using information, resources, tools, and collections. Students can play, tinker, explore, or pursue personal and/or educational goals.
