Into the Woods FAQs
What is the running time for the show?
  • Into the Woods has a running time of 2 and 1/2 hours.
  • Rating: May not be suitable for younger children
Synopsis:
James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.
The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

All tickets are updated immediately through your ticket link, so please do not print until the day of the show.
It's saying tickets are unavailable, is something wrong?
  • We stop selling seats online 2 hours prior to each performance. If that happens you can purchase tickets at the box office 30 minutes prior to the show. A notice will go out if tickets are SOLD OUT prior to each show.
  • If it's not 2 hours prior to a show, it could be that we are only able to operate at a max capacity of 250 seats and anticipate seats selling out quickly -- if we reach max capacity the seating company will automatically stop selling seats.
How is Social Distancing being handled?
  • We are operating at a max capacity of 250 (unless otherwise stated by the State of NJ per Governor Murphy).
  • Each party will be seated together with a 2 to 3 seat buffer in between parties.
  • All parties will have one empty seat in front and behind of them.
  • Masks will be required at all times while seated and moving around.
  • Concessions will be held outdoors (weather permitting)
  • Extended intermission times to allow for social distanced bathroom breaks.
